Help with loose poops

There are different reasons as to why are you struggling with loose poops, the urgency to go out every meal and extreme bloating. A lot of the time this is down to our bodies being in the sympathetic nervous system, which is known as fight and flight. This causes lots of inflammation and especially reacts in a negative way with your digestive track. Most of my clients who have severe loose poops are extremely busy, Over-thinkers, worries  and are more in their anxious state throughout the day. For me this = the modern lifestyle.

When you are in your fight and flight mode constantly, it will actively turn off your digestive system and keep your body in its stressed state, this creates inflammation and is where the body can be more open  to illness and disease. My main tips for my client is to really focus on slowing down and trying to activate your parasympathetic nervous system which is your rest and digest.Tip to activate the parasympathetic nervous system – Focusing on slowing your breath down. Do some breathing exercises throughout the day to make you feel calmer and this is going to help activate the parasympathetic nervous

– Start with some guided meditations. If you’re someone that struggles with meditation start with a five minute one every day  and work your way up from there. Meditations need practice so do not give up. After a couple of weeks you will feel the benefit and be able to switch off your busy mind and fully embrace the benefits you get from mediation.

– Attend yoga classes, instead of high-intensity classes. Yoga can really help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, as you are combining movement with breathwork.

– Go for a walk without your phone, and during that walk look up, breathe and repeat positive mantras to help reduce anxiety and worry.

– Commit to a weekly bath with Epson salts.Other tips that can really help a inflamed bowel– Look at adding in slippery elm into the diet. Slippery elm is a supplement that suits and calms the digestive track. I can really help with those loose bowels.

– Avoid lots of raw food. Raw food in high quantities are very hard to digest and can create painful and loose bowels.
